Time with Adra and Bri - Part 17

He sent the wolves away once he got to the city gate and found them waiting for him. They wouldn't go inside, atleast not in the forms they were in and changing took time and/or energy. There was others likely waiting for him already in human form in the city anyway. He patted their great furry heads, although the looks they gave him after suggested they didn't appreciate the affection.

Making a mental note to let his father know they went above and beyond the call of duty today, he slipped into the city. It wasn't hard to find the carriage, in fact it had gathered a considerable crowd.

Moving to the front of the restaurant where he thought they were, looking up at the sign he muttered to himself. "Café Le’Rome... seems word is out that Bri is here, I knew she was popular but geez..."

Walking up to the man at the front he offered his brightest smile and readied himself to turn on the charm to get inside. "Good day good sir, I'd like a table for one, something in the back perhaps."

The man look at him with a raise of his brow, a tilt of his head taking in his clothing, which were quite plain in contrast to the other patrons filling the cafe. "Do you have a reservation?" Saying it with such disdain that you'd think Dorian had given the man insult.

"Uhh, well no, not exactly, but I am sure you can find room for little ole me, anywhere will do... perhaps mister Franklin could help matters." Slipping a folded 100 into his palm and holding it out.

The man laughed, truly, he laughed and waved for a pair of large burly man that could only be bouncers, who strode over, looking so muscle bound that Dorian was surprised they could walk. "If you don't have a reservation, please leave the grounds, or I shall be forced to have you escorted out."

This isn't going so well Dorian thought, giving a nervous laugh. "Right then, ahh, good day sir" And with that he turned and fled, well not fled persay as made a tactical retreat. Time for plan B, too bad he didn't have a plan B just yet.
